Printed on thin Japanese Washi paper made from plant fibers - archival standards

While developing a website for a client that teaches yoga, I came across images of people performing Hatha Yoga asana (poses).
This one is called Virabhadrasana
I thought the form was fascinating as one could almost feel the body's auras.
After a few weeks of trial and error - with lots of changes - I came up with an ink and paper version.
There are actually several sets of moire patterns in play:
There are several on the human form. These are synchronized with the moire pattern in the background.
This provides a more harmonious feeling, similar to how one feels after practicing yoga or tai chi.
Japanese Washi paper has patterns from the fibers.
By making the ink lighter, the fibers show through and add a randomness.
