La Plumeria
Painted completely within Inkscape - October, 2021
Printed on Hahnemühle German Etching paper made from cellulose fibers meeting archival standards
About 30 years ago we attended the Southern Spring Garden Show in Charlotte.
We purchased stock to grow a Plumeria. It did not take.
About 5 years ago, we obtained another stock, and I was quite skeptical.
But Heidi persisted, and the last two years we've seen beautiful flowers.
As kind of a way to atone for my failure to provide Heidi with lots of support, I opted to create this painting.
I tried printing on several different papers. But of course the German made Hahnemühle worked best.
There is only one print.
The above image comes from the .jpg file.
The actual print has softer edges, and literally jumps from the German crafted paper.
